It’s time to bust out those binoculars, telescopes and cameras, ladies!

Johnny Depp and Christian Bale are finally in Milwaukee to film scenes for Public Enemies! I know you’ve been waiting...

According to the news last night, crews will be filming from Tuesday until Friday (or Saturday). They will be shooting at the Milwaukee County Historical Society building and in some neighborhoods in the vicinity.

Locals are already staking out areas to try to catch a glimpse of one of the movie stars.

Crews started filming in Wisconsin back in March and have also filmed in Indiana and Illinois and are hoping to be done and back in Hollywood by the end of this month.

It's kind of cool to have tinseltown here in Milwaukee for the time being. I'm hoping to run into Christian Bale so that I can profess my undying love to him... I’ll keep you posted.

I was 11 years old when I first saw “Newsies.” I also had a HUGE crush on Christian Bale then – especially when he sang Santa Fe. *swoon*

My friend Amy got pictures of Johnny Depp back in March when he was up in Columbus, WI. He looked really weird, like he was sick or something. Maybe it was the lighting. Looked kind of like, ironically, Christian Bale in "The Machinist," when he starved himself to look like an insomniac malnourished and mentally tormented soul. Think I read he lost almost half his body weight for the role - crazy. Good movie though.

Very cool. Well, besides Depp looking malnourished. Gross. “The Machinist” indeed is an excellent movie. Evidently, Christian Bale not only is attractive, he’s also a very talented actor.

By the way, the "Public Enemies" crew was filming right down the road from my apartment on Prospect Ave. last night. A ton of cargo trailers and vans, and technical equipment strewed the area, and hordes of people congested the roadways and the park over there. It was pretty cool.

I still haven't seen Christian Bale though, just some camera guys...

Wow. That's really cool! I think it will be neat to see this movie in the theater. We'll probably recognize most Milwaukee/other WI landmarks and buildings. I'm stoked!
