For those of us at work...bummer.
But for those of you with green beer already flowing through your veins or those who are out on the town for corned beef, I leave you with a toast in honor of St. Patrick's Day...
Here's to a long life and a merry one.
A quick death and an easy one.
A handsome man (or woman) and an honest one.
A cold beer and another one!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
No matter what you're doing today, have a good one!
Nice toast. Here's one for you:
May the winds of fortune sail you,
May you sail a gentle sea.
May it always be the other guy
who says, "this drink's on me."
Good day!

I don't know any good toasts, but Happy St. Patrick's Day to you too!
Cheers!

I'm stuck at work too, which I guess is for the best since I'm getting too old for drinking anyway. Thanks for the toast, here's one for you as well.
May the winds of fortune sail you,
May you sail a gentle sea.
May it always be the other guy who says, "This drink's on me."

Oops! I just noticed that Mr. O'Brian had the same toast!!! (must have found it on the same site)
Hmmmm... How about this one instead?
May your glass be ever full.
May the roof over your head be always strong.
And may you be in heaven
half an hour before the devil knows you're dead.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you!

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Not stuck at work, but stuck at home - while my Irish husband (Dungannon, Co. Tyrone) is out celebrating with....... my dad.
