All of us locals already know that Milwaukee is a terrific place to reside; now it’s time to enlighten the rest of our country!
Pie Town Productions, the producers of House Hunters (the highest rated show on Home & Garden Television), announced the third season of their wildly successful series National Open House, airing Monday nights on HGTV.
For its upcoming season National Open House will feature Milwaukee in four episodes. Needless to say, this is a tremendous opportunity for local homeowners to showcase their residence on a national TV station and speak about why they love this city!
According to Ally Weinberg, segment producer of National Open House, “The ultimate goal of our program is to give our millions of HGTV viewers the opportunity to see why more and more people are calling Milwaukee their home.”
National Open House is a 30-minute program on HGTV that compares real estate markets across the country and shows viewers what they can get for their money in various cities. It also gives viewers a look at what each city has to offer its residents.
Milwaukee will be showcased in four episodes; material for the last two will be filmed October 14 - 18.
Criteria for candidates to appear on National Open House are as follows:
- Must be a residential homeowner
- Milwaukee homeowners who are willing to speak on camera about the value of their home and why they’ve chosen to buy in the Milwaukee market.

Great find! This is a great opportunity for Milwaukee homeowners - if I didn't live in the ghetto, I'd totally apply...
