What do you think of this guy?
Justin Sailor is a recent college grad who’s about to embark on a yearlong journey across our great nation, crashing at the homes of perfect strangers along the way. Jim Stingl featured him in his column this morning.
Justin's first stop was Milwaukee, and he already has day-by-day accounts on his blog of his visits to the Milwaukee Art Museum, the Mitchell Park Domes and Miller Park, along with some cool pictures.
My verdict: a totally novel idea, and a great way to meet new people and see the USA while you’re still young. It’s one of those ideas that makes people think “I wish I’d thought of that!” - kind of like the red paper clip thing.
I could never do what he’s doing, but I give the guy props, and I’ll certainly be checking in on his site now and then to see how he’s faring.
That is a really cool idea. I could never do it myself, of course, but wow, I'm glad someone has the guts!

Okay seriously, the red paper clip thing...BRILLIANT!!! I'm going to try it right now. Anyone want to trade one 39cent stamp for something even better? =)
