My friend Jason thinks he tipped Milwaukee into the #1 spot. He's originally from the Twin Cities and figures he was visiting up there when they surveyed that area. I think anyone who has visited Summerfest, any of the ethnic festivals, Brewer games, Bucks games, etc can attest to how much we drink, even without his help. :)

My fiance made a good point: we moved from city #3 to city #1, and I've also been to Chicago and Boston in the last year. We find this to be no coincidence :)

Way to go!!!!!
Back when Pabst was still in operation we took a tour and at the end in the distribution center was a vast hall filled to the max with beer ready to go. The guide said this was sent out each day to Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota. Then she said there was a similar floor below this one where all the beer went out each day to Milwaukee and it's suburbs!!!!
