A few things that are making me happy at this moment ...
Summer Fridays started for me today. Every Friday between now and Labor Day - as long as all my work is done - I get done with work at noon. So here it is, 3:00 on a Friday and I'm at home. It's lovely.
The ice cream truck is driving around my neighborhood today. A neighbor kid just flagged him down and bought himself a treat. I watched in amusement - I thought that only happened in the movies.
The new Starbucks that's right down the street from me just opened for business yesterday. When I stopped in after work last night to finally scope out the inside, I ordered a small drink and it was free since it was the grand opening.
It's Memorial Day weekend and except for a scattered thunderstorm here or there, the forecast calls for sun and warmth for the next three days. If memory serves me, Memorial Day is usually crappy out - but not this year!

Actually, last year was pretty nice too (The day of anyways). I went to the beach =)
