Christi turned the big 24 yesterday.
Dave is the big 24 today.
And Play in the City turns one today. It's been a whole year already since my first post!
Dave and I met Christi and Tara at Cafe Vecchio Mondo (our rehearsal dinner locale) last night for some drinks. They'd had dinner there and said the food was great. I loved the atmosphere again and the martinis are divine!
Tonight Dave and I are having dinner at the Melting Pot for his birthday, and tomorrow night we're having dinner with Carlo and Penny and Dave's sister Katie - she's been in Spain for four months! - at Sake Tumi. (Mmmmm sushi.) We're also picking out tuxes for the wedding and ordering my wedding ring tomorrow. Then Sunday it's supposed to be nice out so I think we're going to try our hands at some frisbee golf!
After quite a few boring weekends, I'm really looking forward to this one!

I don't remember what they're called, but the "sushi" rolls with steak in them are f-ing awesome. Saki Tumi's sushi is marginal, but their fusion stuff is pretty kickass.
Congrats on your one year, and on Dave being the big 24 today (that just sounds funny).

the melting pot it yummy, but PRICEY!
I can't believe its only been a year since your first post. It seems longer - probably because this year has been so chock full of great posts :-) congrats!
