Just started reading your blog after reading an article in USA Today. I was raised in Milwaukee and still have many happy memories of that laid back town. Note I said town rather than city as I always felt that its karma was more townlike rather than a city psyche.
I also grew up in Milw, 50 years ago; my grandfather grew up in Milw, another 92 years ago. A great city, built on many small towns (neighborhoods) many sheltering 2-3 generations of a family. A true model for a metropolis. Betsy in New Mexioo (and 35 yrs behind Wisc/Milw)
