« Soho 7 | Main | Milwaukee Brewery Museum Opens! »

March 28, 2008

In Only One Week...

Opening Day at Miller Park will be upon us!

...and I'll be cursing my dad for bringing my brother AGAIN instead of me.

Are you going?

If not, you can always get tickets for some exhibition baseball this weekend at Miller Park. These are the final tune-ups before Monday's season opener at Wrigley Field.

Now, if you're not already hyped for Opening Day, this should definitely get you keyed up!

The Brewers left training camp yesterday and boarded their flight to chilly Milwaukee where they'll host the Royals tonight and Saturday afternoon.

According to the team's official website, Brewers executive president of business operations Rick Schlesinger says the team is expecting a crowd of about 15,000 people tonight and up to 30,000 fans on Saturday. With all exhibition game tickets being sold for ONLY $10, I'm not surprised. In fact, I might try to get my paws on a pair.

On Sunday morning, the Brewers will travel to Chicago for a workout at Wrigley Field. Then, the Cubs right-handed pitcher Carlos Zambrano will throw his first pitch to Brewers leadoff Rickie Weeks shortly after 1 p.m. on Monday.

It’s almost here and I’m stoked!

Although I do not follow sports so regularly.... I am still suffering from the loss of the World Series way back in the '85's - I am excited for you! I hope you get to tons of games this year!

I just found your blog (I commented below). I enjoy your writing. Keep it up!

Welcome! I hope you stop back. :)

So excited for baseball season! We're taking in our first game on Saturday and I can't wait!

I'm going to the game on Saturday too!

We have a large group, so we are in the midst of planning our tailgate party – divvying up the list of eats and ironing out who's bringing what and all that. I just hope the weather cooperates. So far it’s looking good!
